1. Exercise: Keep Moving!


Exercise is key for staying stress-free—and fat-free—during the holidays. Staying active decreases anxiety, strengthens your immune system, and reduces weight gain, so no excuses. Get up and get moving even if you stayed out too late or ate too much holiday food the night before.


Make exercise a priority and find time in your busy schedule to work out. You don’t need a gym membership or fitness classes to stay healthy over the holidays. There are plenty of simple, no-equipment-required workouts you can do every day:

  • Park your car farther away from the store and walk, walk, walk more

  • Go ice skating with family and friends
